Meet the Team
We have a great team here at Belmont house. The home is owned by Patrick and Belinda Phillips. Both Patrick and Belinda are joint company directors and providers of care.
Patrick and Belinda have been married for 45 years and up until the year 2000 lived in Bristol with their two children. Whilst their eldest son took his career path in the police force their daughter Ellenor has worked within the family business and is now the Registered Manager.
Belinda Phillips
Company Director / Provider
In 1990 Belinda joined the NHS and worked in a busy city hospital caring for the sick adult. Within six years Belinda had attended college and qualified as a trained nurse with a Diploma in higher education. After gaining experieince in several areas within the NHS Belinda worked for many years as a surgical nurse within a high dependency unit of the hospital.Her years of experience has enabled Belinda to use her knowledge and skills within Belmont House in caring for her care for her residents to a high standard, educate and support her staff and ensure the home is managed well.
Patrick Phillips
Company Director
Patrick has an engineering and electronics background where his role specialised in Quality Assurance. Since Patricks career change in 2000 he has adapted his skills within the home supporting both staff and residents whilst ensuring that the home complies to the high standards required by CQC in running and maintaining a quality care home.
Ellenor
Registered Manager
Ellenor continued her education in 2000 whilst working at the family business. Ellenor has a wealth of experience within the health care industry where she has attained her level 5 qualification. Ellenor’s role as Deputy Manager has enabled her to support the manager, staff and residents to a great standard. Over the past 9 years as Deputy Manager Ellenor has gained further knowledge and experience in running the home. Ellenor has developed further skills in moving towards the Managers position. In October 2020 Ellenor gained her Registered Managers Award and is now the appointed Registered Manager for Belmont House. Her main focus will be to continue providing a safe environment for all to live and work in while retaining the high standards of care that Belmont has always provided for the people that live there.
